Sunday, May 19, 2013, we will be celebrating our diversity at the 11:00am Mass in the Church. Parishioners from all the many countries will share their culture in song, pageantry and prayer. In the spirit of diversity, we will be having a pancake breakfast prior to our mass celebration it will be held in the cafeteria at 10:00 am. Lynn and St. Mary’s share a long tradition of welcoming newcomers to our shores and this is an opportunity to show that in unity there is strength.

All are welcome! Please join us!

We will celebrate Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th at 9:30am. Coffee and donuts following Mass across the street at the Knights of Columbus (K of C). In the event of rain Mass will take place at the K of C.

There will be no 12:05pm Mass at the parish on that day. Please join us as we pray for all of our beloved deceased, especially those who have served in our armed forces.

Our seminarian Gerry Souza will be ordained as a priest on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. We are blessed to have helped play a
role in Gerry’s formation.

So that we may celebrate with him we are making plans to have a bus bring us to the Cathedral on that day. The bus will leave from St. Mary’s at 8:00am and return no later than 12:00pm.

On Sunday, June 2nd at 11am Fr. Gerry Souza will celebrate Mass here at St. Mary’s followed by a reception in the cafeteria. Please join us as we give thanks to God for Gerry’s presence here at St. Mary’s and wish him well as he departs for his new assignment. If you are interested in helping to plan the reception after for Fr. Gerry’s First Mass. Please contact the parish office to be added to the planning committee list.

The St. Mary’s cookbook contains our parishioner’s and friend’s most treasured family recipes. These are not recipes that you can find in any standard cookbook. This is definitely a KEEPSAKE.

The cost is $12.00 per cookbook, cash or personal checks made out to St. Mary’s Parish Cookbook. You may stop by the Rectory during regular business hours and purchase a cookbook, Monday – Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm.
